The dying Therese promised to spend Heaven doing good upon earth…of letting fall from Heaven a Shower of Roses…and to love Jesus and make Him loved . Her promises are fulfilled in our Carmel for the many she brings to love Jesus. Her “Vocation of LOVE” is our Carmel 's motto. Following her example of silently gathering wilted roses in the courtyard every evening and threw the petals toward the image of the Crucified Lord, praying that these petals would console Jesus, dry His tears, soften His steps, and come down from Heaven as blessings to the world, we continue her mission on earth.
